The hotel is located at the old town of Montevideo, in front of the river, "Río de la Plata", about 30 minutes from Carrasco International Airport and a few minutes from Montevideo's Port. The venue is within walking distance from downtown and some of the historical sites of interest for visitors.

How to book

Reservations can be made by filling out the information listed below and sending it to lparsecretary@multitel.com.uy. Confirmation will be send after booking.
Name, Institution, Hotel, Check in date, Check out date, Single/Double room, Room mate (yes/no), Room mate's name.
All changes and possible cancellations should be made to the e-mail above.

Accommodation must be paid directly to the hotel at check out time.

The local currency is called "Uruguayan peso" (U$).

Bureau's de change as well as cashpoints can be found both at Carrasco International Airport and at Tres Cruces Bus Terminal. In Montevideo there are many cashpoints accepting all major systems. Bureau's de change can be found in the center (on 18 de Julio Avenue) and inside (or nearby) Shopping Centers.

Visa

Please, remember to check whether you need a visa to enter to Uruguay. This list (in spanish), maintained by the Uruguayan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, contains those countries that do not need a visa.

Weather

LPAR will take place at the end of summer. In March medium temperature is usually 20º (Celsius).
