HAHA at IberLEF 2026 instructions for working notes authors
All participants that have submitted systems to the shared task are invited to send a paper describing their system to hahapln@fing.edu.uy by June 12, 2026.
Here are the instructions to write the working notes:
- System description papers should be formatted according to the uniform 1-column CEURART style. Latex template can be found in: https://ceur-ws.org/Vol-XXX/CEURART.zip (please make sure you have the latest version, as CEUR often updates the template).
- Notice CEUR also provides Word and ODT templates, but they are strongly discouraged to use by CEUR themselves.
- Papers must be written in English, and have between 5 and 10 pages.
- The copyright year command must be changed to
\copyrightyear{2026}. - The conference command must be changed to
\conference{IberLEF 2026, September 2026, Le\'on, Spain} - The footer of the first page should look like the following one, but showing the authors of the working notes:
- Eliminate the numbering in the pages of the paper, if there is one, and make sure that there are no headers. On the first page, only the mandatory copyright is allowed as a footnote. You can use footnotes on other pages, but try to keep them at a minimum.
- Authors should be described with their name and their full affiliation (university and country). Names must be complete (no initials), e.g. “María García” instead of “M. García”.
- Titles of papers should be in emphatic capital English notation, i.e., "Filling an Author Agreement by Autocompletion" rather than "Filling an author agreement by autocompletion".
- The “Declaration on Generative AI” section is mandatory, and must be filled according to the use you have given to it in your paper.
- At least one author of each paper must sign the CEUR copyright agreement. The signed form must be sent along with the paper to the task organizers. Important: it must be physically signed with blue pen on paper. These are the two agreement variants, select the one that fits your case.
- AUTHOR-AGREEMENT (NTP): Authors shall use this form if they included no copyrighted third party material in their paper text (or accompanying sources, datasets). This is the right variant in most cases.
- AUTHOR-AGREEMENT (TP): Authors shall use this form if they did include copyrighted third party material in their paper or accompanying material. They must then also attach a copy of the permission by the third party to use this material in the signed author agreement!
- In the field Name and year of the event of the CEUR agreement should be written: IberLEF 2026. In the field Editors of the proceedings (editors), the following names must appear: Alba Bonet-Jover, José Ángel Gónzalez-Barba, Luis Chiruzzo, Alejandro Piad Morffis, Hugo Jair Escalante, Iker de la Iglesia, Albina Sarymsakova, Fazlourrahman Balouchzahi, Alba María Mármol Romero, Horacio Saggion, Tania Gisela Alcántara Medina, Ansel Yoan Rodríguez González, María Victoria Cantero Romero, José Antonio García-Díaz, Álvaro Rodrigo, Miguel Ángel Álvarez Carmona, Vicent Ahuir, Luis Israel Ramos Pérez, Niels Martínez Guevara
