How to get to Montevideo and to the venue
Carrasco International Airport is located 19 km from downtown Montevideo. The airport is served by public transport and a private taxi service which connect to Montevideo and Punta del Este. The trip time to Montevideo by car is 30-45 minutes, while by bus it is 1 hour and 15 minutes.
A taxi from the airport to the conference venue costs around USD 40. Alternatively, several bus lines to the city center stop at the Carrasco airport. Line DM1, operated by different companies, goes from the Airport to Punta Carretas every 45 minutes. The ticket costs less than USD 3.
