Special event

Special event in honor of Leo Bertossi's induction as first AMW fellow

Wednesday 7th June, 18:00-20:00
Location: Anfiteatro Edificio "José Luis Massera"

Leo Bertossi will be inducted this year as the first AMW fellow. Based on this, and the fact the he turned 60 a couple of years ago, we are currently organizing an event in his honor to be held during AMW 2017 in Montevideo, Uruguay.

We want to invite the community at large to participate in the event. We have four invited speakers so far:

  • Marcelo Arenas
  • Andrea Cali
  • Claudio Gutiérrez
  • Leonid Libkin

We will also open a session for lightning talks for anyone who wants to share memories of their interactions with Leo.

If you have any other comments or suggestions about the organization of this event, please do not hesitate to contact Pablo Barceló (pbarcelo@dcc.uchile.cl).
