This course aims to introduce practically the concepts of Embedded Systems, associated with the Internet of Things (IoT) applications. In particular, we will work on the development of customized distributions of the Linux OS for embedded systems, and in simple IoT applications using sensors and wireless networks. We will also present the state of the art of 5G development to support IoT applications.

Graphical User Interface design - 25/11 to 13/12

This course seeks to incorporate knowledge about human factors and user-centered design, and apply them to the design of general-purpose graphical user interfaces. This course pursues the challenge of embracing both basic and advanced interaction concepts related to interfaces, all compressed in 3 weeks.
