José Vivero, Generalized Igusa-Todorov functions.
Abstract: In this talk I am going to present a new approach to the Igusa-Todorov functions, which will lead to the definition of generalized versions of them. I will state some of the fundamental properties of these functions and their relation with the original ones. Also we will see how they can be applied to cast some more light upon the finitistic dimension conjecture.
